You Must Have Security Equipment For Preventive Protection
You Must Have Security Equipment For Preventive Protection
We often see or read about news of crimes committed even within the sanctity of homes for various reasons; thus, we sometimes feel that our safety can be compromised by the slightest lapse in security. By being vigilant with our surroundings is the best thing we could do to avoid perpetuation of any crime against us. Based on the 2007 US crime statistics, there were average daily murders of 46, rapes of 248, robberies of 1,200 and aggravated assaults of 2,345. These figures are very alarming and could really prompt citizens to install personal security equipment.
As personal security equipment for self-defense while out on the streets, you can carry along an authorized pepper spray. Modern pepper sprays contain red pepper, tear gas and ultraviolet dye as an aid to identify the suspect. Hence, it would not be difficult to ascertain the assailant in case of confrontations at the precinct. However, some pepper sprays even if used as personal security equipment are not allowed in some states. You can inquire about this from the distributor of the pepper spray to avoid any inconvenience.
In relation to this, home security equipment can be installed in your home for protection purposes. There is a set of security equipment designed to forewarn you of any intruder in your property. You can choose from the wired or remote surveillance system, digital video recording, and alarm system or perimeter protection as your home security equipment.
Aside from the traditional use of security equipment, a security camera can be used to check the baby sitter. You can also be informed about other activities going on in the house while you are gone, to ensure that your kids are keeping everything safe and purely clean fun. Hence, you will have peace of mind that nothing is going wrong or can be alerted if there is something you need to act on.
Similarly, if you will have similar equipment installed in your business work area, you are assured that everybody is doing their job well. Hopefully this can also deter dastardly acts like hold-up, looting or shop lifting if they see security equipment installed. That is why convenience stores and other retails sales outlets make it a point that they have them in their place of business.
Installing high-tech security equipment is only one way of thwarting criminal acts. The most important factor is by being conscious about preventive security. Keeping your doors, gate or windows closed when going out of the house to prevent easy access for criminal elements. Another way is to open the lights in your balcony once darkness sets in to allow other people like the neighbors to see if there are any suspicious looking people lurking outside your house.

Home Security Safes
Home Security Safes
Throughout history there has been an enduring need to protect irreplaceable possessions from theft and the devastating effects of fire. In the Middle Ages merchants constructed treasury safes made of oak conjoined with iron as a repository of security. With technological advances, today’s safes have tempered steel walls with fire-retardant material interspersed within the walls, affording a deterrent to theft and fire, unimaginable just a century ago.
The word “safe” has an etymological root in the ancient Hebrew language. The Hebrew word “betah” connotes a sense of well-being and security resulting from having something or someone in whom to place confidence. The word emphasizes the feeling of being safe or secure. The ancient Hebrews saw their security and safety in a Transcendent God. The individual understood that they were devoid of the essential resources of life.
Living in a militaristic world and surrounded by powerful empires, to put one’s trust in anything but the Divine Sovereign was seen as completely vacuous. The word security in the Greek language means “without fear.” It describes the state of being secure or the actions employed to obtain that state. To be secure without fear or harm. Detached from its theocentric root, “safe,” “secure” and “safety” have come to convey a spatial and emotive result of feeling safe and secure due to governmental, community and individual decisions as mundane as home security systems and safes. These are but emblematic reminders that safety lies beyond our grasp. “Hold Thou me up and I shall be safe.” Ps. 119:117
We are witnessing the threnody of a dead philosophy. Secularism, with all its permutations; pragmatism, empiricism, atheism, humanism, are all in a decompositional state.
No answer but one can be given to the centuries’ old question that lays bare the philosophies of man, “For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matt. 16:26). Nothing profits a man, only loss, eternal loss. May the sound we hear be the regenerative voice that pierces through the detritus of a dying age and liberates us to breath the breathe of eternity. May we be awakened from the stupor of a deadening somnambulance. “A sense of contact with the ultimate dawns upon most people when their self-reliance is swept away by violent misery.” (Abraham Heschel, The Philosophy of Judaism, p. 422).

Why Home Emergency Systems? Part 3
Why Home Emergency Systems? Part 3
Why Home Emergency Systems? Part3 Part1Part2
Home emergency systems are used to protect individuals from all ages. Have medical attention for the elderly or if there was any other medical issues that could potentially need help immediately. If there is a fire at home the fire department will be on their way……as soon as the fire starts. The system will call the police with a push of a button or the police get called if a break in occurs. People want emergency systems because of the benefits they receive thru having police and fire when their at home or away from home with quick medical response for when their at home.
People want home emergency systems because of the benefits they receive. Statistics were shown why people want emergency systems and how they aid in protection from burglaries, fires and medical emergencies. The purposes of home emergency systems are to aid in protection from burglaries, fires and medical emergencies. Emergency systems help in so many ways but most of all they make individuals feel a lot safer just by having one. This is called peace of mind.
Methodology
The population is in the United States and Arizona. I will do a random sampling procedure to collect more up to date statistics on burglaries, fires and medical issues. This is strictly calculating amount of burglaries to houses, amount of fires to houses and the purpose of medical systems to how many people fall in the category of need for medical at home.

Low Cost Home Security, Protecting Your Home Within Your Budget.
Low Cost Home Security, Protecting Your Home Within Your Budget.
Article by Martin Underwood
At some point in our lives, or another, most of us find ourselves on a limited budget. We are constantly telling ourselves that we cannot afford this and we cannot afford that.Sometimes we make the assumption that we can’t afford something before we investigate the cost involved. Do you make that mistake with your home security?
Perhaps we would all like the latest all singing, all dancing home security system, but maybe we are unable to stretch our budget to afford it just at the present. However, not being able to afford the very best in home security technology does not mean that we should neglect the security of our homes altogether, in fact it would be very foolish to do so.Many of the most effective steps that you can take to keep the burglar out of your home do not involve technological wizardry at all, and are in fact common sense, low cost home security ideas.
Do you lock up every time that you leave your home, locking all windows and exterior doors? Yes, skilled burglars can defeat locks, but many burglaries are committed by unskilled opportunist thieves who look for the door or window left unlocked. How much does it cost to get into the habit of locking up when you leave?
How about your yard, is it overgrown, does it provide cover for an intruder? Keeping bushes and shrubbery trimmed to a reasonable height will deny burglars the opportunity to work unseen while they attempt to break into your home.Displaying home security decals may make a burglar pass by your home. Will security decals and yard signs fool a burglar into thinking that you have a security system? Possibly not, but they may make a less experienced burglar think twice and if he is unsure he will likely move on. Home security decals are so low cost as to suit anyone’s budget.
A very effective and very low cost method of protecting your home is belonging to your local neighborhood watch. It doesn’t get better than this, neighbor looking out for neighbor, and the monetary cost is hardly anything at all. Neighborhood watch does cost you a little of your time though, members have to be actively involved for it to work. But you can afford a little time to protect your home and neighborhood.
Leave some lighting on when you go out, a home that is occupied is likely to have lighting on in more than one room, so to make the impression that somebody is at home leave at least two rooms lit up. Better still, use low cost timers to switch lights on at random times.
Other Low Cost Home Security Solutions.Okay, so you can do a lot to improve the security of your home without spending out on technology. But you and your family may feel more secure if your home is protected by some sort of security system. Do they all cost the earth? No, there are many home security systems that can be labeled low cost.
It is often the case that when new products, including home security systems, are launched they carry a price tag that is on the high side. Then after a time the price settles at a more reasonable level. Could it be that home security devices and systems are now more affordable that when you last checked?
Most security systems are expandable. You could protect your home with a low cost home security system that covers the basics and add more sensors and detectors as your budget allows.
Whilst there is nothing that makes your home absolutely burglar proof, there are many low cost home security ideas that you can employ that will help to keep the burglar out of your home.

Home Security Equipments You should Have
Home Security Equipments You should Have
Article by Ava Xiao
Everybody wants their homes to be prevented from all dangers. There are many different types of home security products in the market. High technology is used for this industry. You can choose the best one to meet your demands. And there are some home security equipments you should have to fit the basic security needs. This article will talk about this kind of products. The first equipment you should have is a fire sensor or smoke sensor. Fire is the most important home security threat you should pay attention. Installation of fire sensor can protect your house from fire disaster. The second equipment for home security is a dog. Dogs are not only a pet but also can be a home security equipment. A barked dog can protect your home from strangers. Not only will the dog alert when strangers are in the area, but a large dog can even be trained to stop and secure a home invader until the police arrive. Small dogs like terriers may not be very good at attacking, but they often make tremendous noise that can alert you and your family that an intruder is nosing around your home. If you have no time to raise a real dog, you can try to buy an Electronic Watchdog, which is never needs foods, water, taking for a walk and never sleeps! With his electronic radar eyes, Rex can “see” through thick doors, walls, and glass and will sound you if any stranger comes. The third equipment you should have is security cameras. With improved technology, wireless home security cameras are now easy for almost any homeowner to install with a minimal amount of effort. Before you install a wireless home security camera system, double check to make sure that you have adequate lighting and that you place the receiver close enough to the camera to receive beamed information. As we know, security cameras are expensive, not everyone can afford them. But there are also another kind of security cameras that you can have. This is a dummy camera, which looks like a real security camera, but it do not record any video. A burglar can not distinguish a dummy camera and a real one. So it can also prevent crime. The fourth equipment you should have is home security alarm system. Home security alarm systems often do more than alert you and your neighbors of an intruder. For maximum security, connect your home security alarms to immediately notify the security company, police and/or fire department an emergency situation. Depending on the level of security and size of your home, the cost installing a home alarm systems varies.Home security equipments are easy and simple to install and use. No homeowner should take their home security for granted – for the sake of their family and their valued possessions. Your Home is Your Castle
Your Home is Your Castle
Maybe the reason for my finding the protectiobn of my premises a non-arduous task is because I’ve been working in the security filed for about four decades, including security responsibility for an industrial site and hotel-apartment complex, as well as having bben not only a security consultant/trainer/litigation expert for plaintiffs and defendants, but a private detective. So I’ve seen what good security can accomplish, and ‘lazy’ security can and will do.
To make a long article short, there is no excuse for any homeowner not to have a secure premises. None whatseoever.
The most important justification for reasonable and adequate home security is first the protection of your family and secondly protection of your valuables (assets). That task cannoty be accomplished by assuming that because you may live in a “nice” neighborhood, your home is not in damger of crimial attack. In today’s world, every neighborhood, rural area, and high-rise multi-dwelling building is a potential object of attack.
Now that you all understand this basic concept, there are two elementary security tasks to put into practice – deny the potential opportunity, and deter the criminal from completing the intented crime.
The first thing you have to do is take a good look at your home and determine all reasonable points of entry. Unlike the days of yore, you really do not have to dig a moat around your home, nor do you have the need to install a drawbridge; however, the steps you do need to take are modern forms of the prior methods.
Secure your entry doors. Do this by installing strong security doors, such as those latticed or with other fancy designs. The doors should be installed on the outside of your home, prior to your standard entry door. The security doors should be installed with fastening devices which cannot be easily removed. Your regular entry door should be locked with a professional grade lock, one ehich cannot be bumped nor easily opened, and for which keys can be obtained only from the locksmith from whom the lock was purchased.
Door jambs and frames should be secured by long screws – up to 6″ – so that they cannot be forced away from the wall studs without a time-consuming effort. Do this for all your house doors.
Windows are the next access area for concern. Aside from using a good locking device, de[pening upon the kind of windows you have, you also want to protect the glass areas with a security window film - usually 28mm in thickness. The film should be the kind which bends with an attack, rather than tear. That film will make entry extremely time consuming, if possible at all, and will protect yopur glass from shattering and spreading fragments in the event of a hurricane, exposion in the area, and similar disaster events.
Last but not least, install a glass-break alarm. This may or may not be connected to a monitoring system. Since your biggest protection worry iis your family, once anattempt is made to break through your windows, since getting through the doors is too much of a problem, the alarm will sound, waking you if you are asleep, and you will have sufficient time to call local law enforcement, and/or take any other defenbsive action.
Once you do the above, you'll be in a really great preemptive security mode, and you and your family can rest easy that you have taken the best steps possible to protect your home. Of course, you can never tell what devious ways the bad guy may have to unlawfully enter your property, but why make it easy on the criminal?
Hardening your propery, as described in this article, will go a long way towards enhancing your security awareness in and out of the home premises. It's your life, your family's life, as wellas all of your personal property. So, no more excuse, just do it.

Why and Types of Home Security Devices
Article by Ralph Sanders
With the increasing rate of crime and burglary, every one realizes the importance of home security across the globe. Though various techniques and equipments are used, home security is the common idea in every one’s mind. People who stay in independent houses definitely require home security. However, if there are many people in the family, there will be some one or the other in the house. When we talk about big families, we still cannot take chances when it comes to home security.
For those who live in apartments, home security is mandatory as most of the residents are employed and often small families stay in apartments. When it comes to home security, avoid buying cheap home security systems. Check out the various features that are available before you buy home security device. It is very important to buy the right one that suits your requirement. I would recommend you to go for a home security device with cameras and EPC. You must also note that home security systems are not as expensive as you think. There are many home security systems that are affordable and of good quality. If you go for camera monitoring, you can watch your home through the recordings even when you are away from your home. With the current study which indicates the growing crime rate, home security should never be a second thought.
If you go for a burglar home security alarm, you can easily prevent burglary. There are wireless and hardwired home security systems that are available. You can choose the right one as per your choice based on your requirements and budget. Though home security systems cannot fight with burglars, they can definitely keep them away from your home. Home security devices are commonly placed near the windows and doors. Motion sensors are the advanced features of home security. There are a wide range of home security products like home security video devices, mechanical home security devices, door security devices, personal security devices, alarm kits, cameras, dialers’ voice and cellular, door chimes, glass break detectors, motion detectors, signs, sirens, heat detectors etc. You can select the right one for yourself.
You must surf the net and check for the various features of the home security devices. You can check the prices and offers given by manufacturers. If you already have a home security device, you may go for up gradation instead of going for a new home security device. Motion sensors use infrared technology to detect entry of unauthorized person with the body temperature. These infrared waves are passive and there are special patterns too. Shock sensors come with two sensors to detect glass breaking. If you have large windows and stay in a large house or an independent house, then it is important to detect when glasses are broken. In this case, you must go for glass guard sensors. Pendant sensors are small which can be worn around your neck, or ties in your wrist or belt and helpful for elderly people. They just need to press the button which is like a panic sensor when they need support in case of any emergency.
