This product is nearly perfect…and I tried 3 other motion sensing lights before this one. The quality is great (made in Germany) but more importantly, IT WORKS perfectly. I placed it on the eave above my garage door and it turns on when coming out the door to put trash in the can. It also triggers when a car is coming up the driveway. The previous three were a compromise when trying to “aim” the sensor so it triggered both, and in the end they would not. Plus two of the other three (Heathco, Heath-Zenith) had some defect in the sensors such that they would not ever turn off or would cycle on and off every 10 seconds. I would HIGHLY recommend this product, I just wish I would have known about it sooner!
Update: I spoke a little too soon I guess…afetr just a couple of weeks the light is no longer functioning properly. Once it triggers at night the first time, it never goes dim again all night. 300 watts of energy being wasted. I will post again when I see how difficult to return/repair (10 year warranty)
