This Sunforce solar powered motion-activated 16-LED security light works in tandem with an integrated camera that provides images up to 2.0MP and 640 x 480 video images,. Good idea, but the power cord is way too short and, though it’s solar and meant for the out of doors, it stopped working the first time it rained. A real disappointment and too high a price tag for something that didn’t work even a month.
Update January 06, 2012 — I never bothered taking it down and the motion detector light has started working again and you can see it flashing as if taking a picture, but it’s not recording on the SD card that came with it, trying to decide if it’s worth buying another card to see if that was faulty or if it is the camera itself.
